Full four-game slate on tap for this week’s CFL Fantasy action. A week that will be without star quarterback Vernon Adams Jr., who’s serving a one-game suspension for his actions in last week’s game. Luke Tasker is also slated to miss this week’s game for the Tiger-Cats. This is huge news for the prospects of Brandon Banks and Bralon Addison, which we will get into in this week’s breakdown.

QUARTERBACK

Dane Evans

DraftKings = $9,200/$50,000
TSN = $6,827/$40,000

Dane Evans will head into Winnipeg tonight to try and take out the combo of Chris Streveler and Andrew Harris. Evans has been stellar over his past three games, with two of them having been on the road. It also helps that Winnipeg has been slightly more vulnerable through the air. They have given up over 400 yards passing in two of their last four games. Evans has gone for over 300 yards in four of his last five games. The trio of Evans, Banks and Addison should be able to take full advantage in tonight’s game.

RUNNING BACK

Maleek Irons

DraftKings = $5,300/$50,000
TSN = $4,500/$40,000

Maleek Irons has been officially activated after being on the six-game injured list. It looks like he will be thrust back into the lead role as he is listed as the starting running back for Hamilton tonight. Expect Irons to see at least double-digit carries and also be involved in the passing game. In his two starts prior to getting hurt, Irons had at least three catches in both games. Don’t get me wrong, the matchup is tough. This play is strictly based on Irons’ involvement and role being mispriced on both sites. He becomes a much-needed salary saver.

WIDE RECEIVER

Brandon Banks/Bralon Addison

DraftKings = $19,600/$50,000
TSN = $21,744/$40,000

If you haven’t noticed yet, it’s a Hamilton stack this week. What better way to do so than pairing both Bralon Addison and Brandon Banks with Dane Evans. The trio has been a fantasy gold mine this season. You will have to fork over a large amount of salary to roster both guys, but if one guy has a ceiling game there should be no need to worry. If both guys have a ceiling game, chances are you will come out of this week in the green. The main reason for loving this stack so much this week is that Luke Tasker will not be playing tonight. This means that Addison and Banks will soak up all of the targets they can handle, with Maleek Irons getting the scraps. Fire up the Tiger-Cats with confidence this week.

DEFENCE

B.C. Lions

DraftKings = $4,000/$50,000
TSN = $3,238/$40,000

The Lions make the list for the third week in a row. They have not disappointed in the past two weeks and get another solid matchup this week as they will face a Vernon Adams-less Alouettes team. If holding the Redblacks to just 12 points in two games doesn’t spur the confidence of this Lions defence in CFL Fantasy, I don’t know what will.
